Collection: 8-Hole Sanding Discs
The 8-hole pattern is the most common dust extraction layout on 5 inch (125mm) random orbital sanders, including models from Bosch, Makita, DeWalt, Ryobi and Milwaukee. If your sander pad has eight evenly spaced holes around the outside, these are the discs you want.
Purple Ceramic in 8-hole runs P40 through P2000 and is rated for wet or dry use, so it holds up on hardwoods, cured finishes and body filler. Green Aluminum Oxide in 8-hole runs P40 through P1200, is dry use only, and costs less per disc for softwoods, plywood and general prep. Both use hook-and-loop backing.
Count the holes on your pad before ordering. A mismatched pattern still sands, but dust collection drops off sharply and discs load up faster.
