What Sanding Discs Fit a Bosch ROS20VSC?
Short answer: 5" (125mm) discs with an 8-hole pattern and a hook & loop backing.
The stock pad is the Bosch RS035, and it is an 8-hole 5" hook & loop pad. Any disc marked 5 inch 8-hole will fit.

Careful, this is where Bosch owners get it wrong.
The 6" Bosch sanders are a completely different pattern. The ROS65VC, 1250DEVS and 3727DEVS all take a 6 inch 6-hole pad, not 8-hole. If that is what you own, 6-hole discs for 150mm sanders.

Why the pattern matters on this sander in particular
The ROS20VSC has a decent onboard microfilter dust canister, and people rely on it. That only works if the disc holes line up with the pad holes.
Put a mismatched disc on and the canister is pulling against solid paper. The dust stays on the surface, gets ground back into the wood, and packs into the abrasive grain. Within a few minutes you are dragging a polishing pad across your work no matter what grit is printed on the back. The disc is not worn out. It is loaded.

Pre-stain or pre-oil on tight-grained woods only.
Past P220 on bare wood you start burnishing the fibers closed, and stain goes blotchy. Save P320 and above for scuffing between finish coats.
And do not lean on it. Pressure stalls the orbit, which is what causes swirl marks, and the heat melts resin into the grain. Guide it, and move about an inch per second.
A few things worth knowing
Is the RS035 the same as the RS034?
Both are 5 inch 8-hole hook & loop pads for the same family of sanders. They differ in hardness, not in hole pattern. Either way you order 8-hole discs.
Can I use 6 inch discs on a ROS20VSC?
No. It is a 5" sander. A 6" disc will overhang the pad, and the unsupported edge will fold, tear and gouge your work.
Will hook & loop discs from another brand fit?
If they are 5 inch and 8-hole, yes. Hook & loop is a standard. The pattern is what varies.
My discs keep clogging even though they fit. What now?
Three things, in order. Run your extraction and tap the disc out on the bench every few minutes. Ease off the pressure, since heat is what melts resin into the grain. Then consider mesh, which clears dust across the entire face instead of through eight holes.
